Apurva & Nikhil — Co-Founders, Tara Clay Works

Born from
earth and intention.

Tara Clay Works began not with a plan, but with a feeling — the grounding, meditative sensation of hands pressing into wet clay. What started as a quiet pursuit in a spare room became, over years of practice and patience, a full studio and a living philosophy.

"Clay doesn't lie. It holds exactly what you give it — your steadiness, your curiosity, your calm. That's what makes it such an honest medium."

Every piece at Tara Clay Works is shaped by hand. No two are identical. From the first lump of raw stoneware to the final glaze pulled from the kiln, each object carries the memory of its making — the hours, the choices, the care.

Beyond the objects, this studio is a community hub. Classes, workshops, and open events bring together people at every stage of their creative life — beginners curious about clay, and skilled makers deepening their practice. Everyone is welcome at the wheel.

What People Say
